COACH ROCKY'S YOUTH TENNIS PROGRAM
FALL TEAM TENNIS AT SUGAR CREEK
It has been over 20 years since Sugar Creek Golf & Tennis had a junior league tennis team. I'm so proud our our growth. Our summer camp sessions have prepped us for the journey ahead of team tennis. ALTA has leagues in spring and fall for boys and girls ages 7 to 18. Each season lasts seven weeks followed by playoffs and City Finals. Just like in the adult leagues, winning junior league teams receive bag tags and trophies to celebrate their success. Teams are formed and managed by individual members and play out of ALTA-approved facilities, including tennis centers, private clubs and neighborhoods. Teams must guarantee a minimum of two ALTA-approved courts with lights and bathroom facilities for home matches. Junior Girls play on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. Junior Boys play on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. Annual membership for Juniors is just $15. Once you join ALTA, I can start to build our Sugar Creek Youth Junior Team.

Once we have 8 players registered for the boys team and 8 players for the girls team registered, I will begin forming our new teams. I will look to hold team practice twice a week from 5pm-6pm. I encourage the entire team to plan on both days of practice so we are ready to compete on Saturdays. Matches will take place on Saturdays. Team practice will start the first week of August. A google sheet will be created that I will share with all players and parents. This google sheet will allow me to communicate with you all in real time as well as provide an accurate count of attendance for team practices. More info to follow.
